"High Performance, Extreme Density"

The HPC A1404W is a mid-range high performance workhorse offering extreme densities in rack mount form factors. This AMD Opteron based platform is an ideal choice for high density compute clusters, storage, database clusters and web farms. This platform has a unique advantage of packing four AMD Opteron processors in a 1U package with optional integrated InfiniBand DDR ports and x8 expansion slot.

A1404W provides the best performance at a very affordable price with the combination on the latest IO, network, memory and power efficient technologies. A1404W features the latest Opteron  microprocessors from AMD with DirectConnect architecture technology, DDR2 memory, PCI-Express and SAS/SCSI storage. It makes an ideal platform for a large scale compute clusters and InfiniBand applications.

A1404W supports the latest six core AMD Opteron CPU providing 24 cores per 1U.
