HiPerServ E1404W is a high performance, cost effective x86, quad socket Intell Xeon SMP solution built on industry standard components. Featuring the latest Intel Xeon quad core processors, this system can be configured from a minimum of 8 cores up to 16 cores.

Based on the revolutionary vSMP architecture, HiPerServ E1404W circumvents the limitations and bottlenecks of the traditional x86 SMP and clustering architectures. vSMP provides affordable large SMP configurations with out the added costs. HiPerServ E1404W extends the SMP architecture across multiple systems using hardware aggregation techniques, thus presenting a single system image to the operating  system and the users.

HiPerServ E1404W is ideally suited for applications that need large number of processing cores or huge memory configuration or both. The system can be customized as per the processing power and/or memory requirements. Applications and operating systems can be used as-is with no modifications.
